Manor Ostankino - a unique monument on safety of Russian architecture of XVIII century, located in northern part of Moscow.
Once situated near Moscow, this manor settles down now in 20 minutes of driving from the Kremlin and involves fans perfect with strict forms classicism the architecture refined by beauty of interiors of a palace and lonely silence of ancient park.
The ensemble of a manor developed during several centuries. The first data about Останкине concern to middle of XVI century.
The most old from nowadays saved in territory of a manor of monuments - Church Zhivonachal'noj of the Trinity of the end of XVII century with nine-circle a carved iconostasis.
Two its bottom circles concern to time of construction of church, the others - by the end XVIII th.the Five-domed temple in style " Moscow pattern " is erected from the red brick trimmed with a white carved stone and by polychrome tiles.
Align church by princes Cherkassk, owning a manor from the first quarter XVI on middle of XVIII century. At them Останкино represented a rich princely residence with a beautiful temple, the big mansion and an extensive garden.
The manor was at that time so good and well-equiped, that here four times in succession accepted empress Elizaveta Petrovnu.
Existent nowadays Ostankinskiy the palace is constructed by one of richest and notable people of time by graph Nikolay Petrovichem Sheremetevym last decade XVIII centuries. In sort Sheremetevyh Ostankino has passed in 1743 among dower for his mother, nee princess Cherkassk.

Above the project of this unusual palace known Russian architects F.Kamporezi, V.Brenna and I.Starov worked. His serf architects the column - embodied A.Mironov and P.Argunov. Construction last with 1792 on 1798. The palace entirely from a tree is built, but the plastered walls of it seem stone. The embodiment of uncommon idea was appreciated.
